Arif Mohiuddin began his career with KPMG over 25 years ago on PPP projects. An infrastructure PPP transaction expert, he has led, as CEO, one of North America’s leading infrastructure advisory firm specialising in emerging markets. He uniquely possesses management, business development as well as technical skills. His experience includes working in 17 countries.

Arif’s expertise covers ports, power, rail, road and mass transit systems and his core competences encompass the entire PPP transaction cycle covering management and delivery of due diligence processes, technical and commercial feasibility work, including financial modelling, business and asset valuations, as well as traffic demand studies. He has also been responsible for contract design for a range of PPP operating models, development and management of procurements, tender evaluations and negotiations. To date, he has directly delivered successful financial close to over USD 10 billion in 43 infrastructure PPP transactions (including 26 Port Terminal PPP Transactions) across Africa and Asia. In addition, he has led investments in development of solar and hydro energy projects and successfully sold such to major players such as Scatec Solar and responsAbility Renewable Energy Company (rAREH).

Arif has extensively worked with International and bilateral agencies such as the World Bank, IMF, ADB, AfDB, FCDO, Global Affairs Canada as well as numerous government ministries, institutions, regulators across many countries.
